Dance ∆rchive Berlin: artist survey and ‘Digital Dance ∆rchive’ workshop

Date: January 15, 2021 (end of artist's survey) | January 29, 2021, 10am-5pm (workshop), online via Zoom

The steering group ended last year with excellent feedback and a lively discussion at the public launch event with 50 participants on December 16, 2020, and it is now looking forward to the next steps in the Dance ∆rchive Berlin conception phase.

The qualitative artist survey – a collective brainstorming initiative – can still be completed here until January 15, 2020 when it will then be evaluated. At the end of January, the steering group will be hosting a hands-on workshop on the digital possibilities for the Dance ∆rchive Berlin: on the digital collection and modelling of data as well as on digital tools for dealing with knowledge about and in dance. The workshop will be hosted together with Prof Bernhard Thull (Hochschule Darmstadt / University of Applied Sciences, Digital Pina Bausch Archives) and Prof Florian Jenett and David Rittershaus (Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, Motion Bank Project). The invitation is open to everyone and more details on the workshop agenda will be published shortly. Registration at tanzarchivnoSpam@tanzbuero-berlin.de. Detailed information about the conecption phase is available here.
