The available funding of €23,250 (2020) and €21,250 (2021) will be used, as planned, for the formation of a steering group. The intention is for the group to use the concept phase to develop innovative options for the development of the dance archive in Berlin – based on in-depth research, qualitative and quantitative surveys, and exchanges with experts in Germany and overseas – and to further long-term access to the documentation of dance in Berlin. The agent and funding recipient for the start of the conception phase in 2020 is the Contemporary Dance Berlin association in co-operation with Tanzbüro Berlin – the current call for applications for the conception team (deadline: September 20, 2020) is published here.
