Berlin Council for the Arts (Rat für die Künste): Newly elected

Between 1 and 4 April 2022, 942 cultural workers from Berlin cast their votes. The following 19 candidates make up the new Council for the Arts Berlin: Kefah Ali Deeb (coculture e.V. & Arab Digital Expression Berlin e.V. ), Oliver Baurhenn (CTM Festival for Adventurous Music and Art), Dorothee Bienert (Department of Culture and Municipal Galleries Neukölln), Fatima Çalışkan (PAP Berlin), Wagner Carvalho (Ballhaus Naunynstraße), Mathias Einhoff (ZKU), Silvia Fehrmann (DAAD Artists-in-Berlin Programme), Benjamin Foerster Baldenius (raumlabor Berlin), Teena Lange (Grüntaler9, network of free Berlin project spaces and initiatives), Annette Maechtel (nGbK - new society for visual arts), Matthias Mohr (Radialsystem), Anna-Katharina Müller (Berliner Festspiele/Theatertreffen), Daniel Neugebauer (Haus der Kulturen der Welt), Marianne Ramsay-Sonneck (LAFT, Urbane Praxis), Rebecca Raue (Ephra e. V.), Julia Schreiner (Stadttheater Spandau, LAFT), Heidi SIll (spokesperson bbk berlin - berufverband bildender künstler*innen berlin), Franziska Werner (Sophiensaele Berlin), Annette Wostrak (LesArt, Berlin Centre for Children's and Youth Literature). Up to five further members will be co-opted at the constituent meeting on 2 May.
