15 international dance productions at the 2024 Potsdam Tanztage festival

Personal and social experiences of crisis, fears but also humanist utopias dominate the line-up at this year's Potsdamer Tanztage: Necropolis by Arkadi Zaides is a documentary work dealing with the mostly unknown victims of migration at Europe's borders, choreographer Sahar Damoni's performance Nawa explores the impact of an abortion on the identity and psyche of the female body and the group Yebo Yes! showcases isiPantsula, a dance style that originated in the townships of South Africa as a means of protest for the oppressed during apartheid. In addition to many other productions a.o. by Omar Rajeh / Maqamat, students from the HZT Berlin will also be presenting short pieces in this year's program, which can be enjoyed at various open-air venues.
