In February 2024, the next edition of TANZPLATTFORM DEUTSCHLAND will take place in Freiburg im Breisgau. After 18 years, the most important event of contemporary dance from Germany will thus return to Baden-Württemberg and transform Freiburg into the hub of the international dance world. It is a particular honor and pleasure for the Dance Division of Theater Freiburg to have been chosen to host this important festival.
The independent jury of experts formed for TANZPLATTFORM DEUTSCHLAND 2024 has already begun screening relevant productions. To ensure that no premiere date is missed, we cordially invite all choreographers, dancers, independent groups and companies as well as venues and production houses to submit their premiere dates between October 2021 and the end of September 2023 via the following website: www.tanzplattform2024.de
