From the opinion issued on April 3, 2020: "Professional artists and und self-employed individuals in all disciplines and sectors whose livelihoods are being threatened are helped quicker, less bureaucratically, more fairly and thus more effectively by means of a one-off grant. Our urgent appeal is aimed at the federal government and directly at the German Chancellor Dr Angela Merkel and the Minister of State for Culture Prof Monika Grütters: Save independent artists and the entire independent cultural landscape!"
