- Vorteile der Künstlersozialkasse: Finanzielle und soziale Vorteile, die die KSK bietet, z.B. Beiträge für Kranken-, Pflege- und Rentenversicherung.

Trailer & Showreels - the essence of a good video [ENG] | Lukas Stelter | 21.06. // 10 am - 4 pm // SENECA INTENSIV Studios
As a freelance artist, presenting your work through video is essential — whether you're applying for residencies, festivals, funding, or simply building your presence online. This workshop gives you the means to live up to this challenge. Together, we’ll explore how to create trailers and showreels — each with their own purpose in artistic self-presentation and marketing. You’ll learn what makes a video compelling, what common editing mistakes to avoid, and how to shape a strong narrative using your own movement material. We’ll also look at how to develop your personal visual language through aesthetics and dramaturgy, and how to work with color and sound. Additionally, you’ll gain basic knowledge around copyright and licensing — essential for the post-production and distribution of your work.
Hands On! You’ll get practical experience in editing software and are encouraged to bring your own footage and tools (test material will also be provided if required). The goal: to leave the workshop with skills you can immediately apply to your own projects.
Level: Basic knowledge of video editing software is welcomed but not obligatory.

In HOW TO AUDITION we go through a quasi-real audition together with the elements email application (cover letter, CV and showreel) and written feedback, with 1 day of face-to-face audition. As a special gimmick, each participant receives personal feedback at the end and questions are answered.
HOW TO AUDITION is a format that makes it possible to actively experience an audition day and to deal with the associated challenges. This in a protected environment.

Der Workshop lädt die Teilnehmenden zur Reflexion der eigenen Kommunikation ein, bietet Raum für Austausch und Selbsterfahrungen. Wir erforschen: Was können wir tun, um die Qualität unserer Kommunikation in künstlerischen Prozessen zu verbessern? Wie wollen wir arbeiten? In diversen Übungen werden die Grundlagen der Gewaltfreien Kommunikation nach M. Rosenberg eingeführt. Wir erproben die Methode des empathischen Zuhörens und des Feedbackgebens und fragen uns: Was sind eigentlich unsere Bedürfnisse in einer guten Zusammenarbeit?

Robert Schulz graduated with a B.A. in Dance from the Folkwang University of the Arts, Essen, and has since worked in a multidisciplinary context as a performer, teacher, choreographer, dramaturg and project manager.
